Some time

after the breakup

of the original band,

L J (on guitar),

and Ray Escott

(vocals / harmonica / percussion),

recruited the late bassist

Dave Sembach and

drummer Phil "Paper" Daugherty

to form another 

version of Freeman Sound,

which performed at local area establishments

and events in the early '70s.
