After playing with Warren-Youngstown area bands such as The Phantoms, The Difference Between and Freeman Sound, L J first introduced his solo act in the mid '70s.
Through the years, between bands and evolving personal circumstances, L J, aka "The Ace Fox Show", "Lewis J" and "Lewis John", continued to refine his "one man band" technique with his "Oldies & Blues Show", which has featured his amazingly smooth and dynamic guitar, harmonica and vocal work.
He has performed his unique renditions of great old pre-80s tunes throughout northeast Ohio, off and on, for decades.
L J has also performed many of his own original songs in a variety of situations.
L J demonstrates his skill as a one man show with a couple of tunes in the video below. One is a quick boogie and the other a slow, bluesy classic.
